Judge Dismisses DPS-ALR Proceeding and Client Keeps Her Drivers License
Date: November 15, 2005
Client was facing an administrative suspension of her license after refusing to give a breath sample when arrested for DWI. DPS requested the Client's drivers license be suspended for two years, instead of the customary 180 days, because client had refused to give a breath sample one year previously in a different criminal matter. Ms. Kennedy represented the Client in the Adminstrative License Revocation (ALR) hearing, and after the evidence and argument of counsel was presented, the judge dismissed the charges. Client will maintain her drivers license.
